Fashion is an artful journey that lets us decide how we want to be represented. OXDX Clothing embraces fashion to reshape the inner perspective of the Navajo, most knowingly, the Diné culture, thus encouraging a new beginning to replace the former version we expect to see of their beliefs and practices with a more lively experience that continues to grow rather than stick to old patterns.

Diné Artist, Jared Yazzie and founder of OXDX Clothing, says, “I started making art and clothing because I wanted something in the public that represented people that looked like me,” on the fashion label’s blog on their website under the tab, DISCONNECTED. Therefore, Yazzie hopes to gain ground on a cultural artform of visible storytelling through striking graphics on everyday wear and accessories.
Since 2016, Yazzie, along with his OXDX Clothing team, Hannah Manuelito (@itshannahduhhhhhh) and Shaina Yazzie (@shaibai), support unique designs and feature products highlighting the Diné indigenous community.

Such as this art print entitled, “TOGETHER WE RISE,” for $60 showcasing three sisters, Naelyn Pike, Nizhoni Pike, and Baase Pike who are major advocates throughout the Apache Stronghold and the Protect Oakflat movements. This matte finish, no surface glare art print is offered in the following sizes: (12”x 16”), (18”x 24”) and (24” x 32”).
